The Conference Centre itself comprises a suite of ten rooms which have recently been refurbished to restore them to their original decorative splendour.

There is a large entrance hall/main reception area which can be used for pre-business receptions, buffets or dancing if required.  The main conference room is the original Music Room of the house and can easily accommodate 90 delegates.

Adjoining the Music Room is the Morning Room and the Drawing Room, both of which are ideal for smaller formal meetings or pre-business receptions. In the east wing, the Riverside Suite, consisting of four similar rooms, can be used as separate meeting rooms, exhibition areas, dining rooms or additional breakout rooms from the main conference area.

Upstairs, the formal boardroom is also available for groups of up to 30.  Each room can be set up to meet individual requirements.

The Dining Room completes the Conference Centre, where our excellent caterers are happy to meet your individual requirements.

Equipment

We can offer the latest in technological equipment and expert on-the-spot assistance.

Internet access is available in most rooms by prior arrangement.

All equipment will be set-up and ready for your use and will have been tested in advance.

Accommodation

No overnight accommodation is available on campus.  The town of Ayr is, however, only a short distance away with a wide range of excellent hotels and guest houses.

Delegates rates range from £11 pp for half a day with coffee, up to £28pp for our executive day package including 3 course lunch.  Evening and weekend rates available.  Tea and coffee served with all menus and a refreshment licence is available if required.

Our chef will be delighted to cater for any special dietary requirements which should be notified in advance.

Travel Details

By Road

Oswald Hall Conference Centre is located on SAC's Ayr campus at Auchincruive Estate on the B743 Ayr to Mauchline road, 5km (3.5 miles) from Ayr centre, which has good taxi and bus services to the College.

By Rail

There is a regular train service between Ayr and Glasgow, with connections to the rest of Britain. A service also runs from Ayr and Troon to Stranraer, for ferries to Ireland.

By Air

Glasgow Airport (31 miles or 50 km) has scheduled services to airports in the UK, other European countries and North America. Passengers arriving at Glasgow airport should take a taxi to Paisley Gilmour Street rail station where they can connect with a train to Ayr. Prestwick Airport (5 miles or 8 km) has scheduled services to London, Dublin and other European cities.

Delegate Rate £24 one day non residential rate inclusive of VAT.

Delegate Rate £27 as above plus hire of two conference rooms
