Power in Agriculture (2012)
In 2011, the Oxford Farming Conference commissioned Rural Policy Centre researchers to carry out a study to provide information for the 2012 Oxford Farming Conference on the theme of 'Agriculture: tomorrow's power'. The study examined where the economic, political and natural resource power currently lies in world agriculture, how that might change in future and what it means to British farmers.
The research was carried out by Alan Renwick, Md. Mofakkarul Islam and Steven Thomson. The full report and Alan's presentation at the 2012 Conference are both available from the Oxford Farming Conference website.
