The Future Impact of Current Environmental Policy (2007)
Recent research involving ADAS, SAC, IGER and the AFBI sought to develop projections of the likely impact of current policies on future land use. In the context of targets to ensure that agricultural emissions to the environment are limited, this research sought to estimate the likely impact of current policy so that an assessment of the gap between that impact and the targets could be made. This research is relevant to the development of policies that may be needed for ammonia abatement, mitigation of climate change and meeting requirements of the Water Framework Directive.
