Building a Low Carbon Economy Seminar (January 2009)
Dr Sam Fankhauser
The Rural Policy Centre hosted a seminar by Dr Sam Fankhauser on 23rd January 2009. Dr Fankhauser is a member of the newly appointed Committee on Climate Change that was established under the Climate Change Act to advise the UK Government on setting carbon budgets and to report to Parliament on the progress made in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Dr Fankhauser explained the process through which the Committee proposed emissions targets and budgets.
