SAC Outlook Roadshows (2010)
The three SAC Outlook Roadshows for 2010 were held in Oban, Dumfries and Dingwall, with a good turnout at each event. The events were organised to take the latest SAC business and market analysis direct to farmer audiences, coupled with commentary from respected industry figures.
The events are funded through the 'Success Through Knowledge' Campaign and each takes place in a different part of Scotland to reflect differing farming interests, while together they offer an industry-wide perspective. At all three events, Douglas Bell from the Rural Policy Centre gave his impressions of the forthcoming reform of the Common Agricultural Policy and a review of the market situation in order to help farmers consider how they might adjust their business plans for the challenges ahead. The presentations from the events are available below.
