Second Rural Scotland in Focus Round Table Debate on 'Health and Wellbeing in Rural Communities' (November 2010)
The second Rural Scotland in Focus Round Table Debate was held on November 24th 2010. The Debate followed on from a morning Rural Scotland in Focus Knowledge Exchange event.
The Knowledge Exchange Event aimed to increase awareness of the ways in which civil society is already promoting health and sustaining health and welbeing in Scotland's rural communities and to identify key themes and messages for policy and practice. 30 projects from across Scotland were invited to showcase their work at the event.
The Round Table Debate focused on exploring how civil society can contribute further to the health and wellbeing of Scotland's rural population and how that can be supported through multi-sector working.
