Dr Cesar Revoredo-Giha is Senior Food Marketing Economist and Team Leader of the Food Marketing Research Team at SAC.

Cesar is an applied economist specialising in the industrial organisation of food markets, international trade and econometrics. His recent research focuses on two areas: empirical analysis of farmers' economic responses to changes in agricultural policy; and the operation and performance of agri-food chains and their implications for the farming sector.

Cesar has undertaken work for the United Nations, the World Bank, the International Food Policy Research Institute, Defra, the Food Standards Agency and the Scottish Government.
