Dr Andrew Barnes is Team Leader of the Resource Economics Unit in the Land Economy and Environment Research Group at SAC.

Andrew's work focuses on capturing the impacts of policy change and farmer behaviour at the farm and catchment level within a modelling framework. Within this, Andrew's research has focused on a number of different topics, including understanding the attitudes, motivations and perceptions of farmers towards water pollution issues. Andrew is currently leading a piece of work on the productivity of Scottish agriculture.
