Lamb Sex & Lamb Behaviour

In some breeds male lambs tend to be slower to stand and suck after birth than ewe lambs. This may be partly because male lambs are larger, and have different conformation to ewe lambs, making it more likely they will suffer a prolonged delivery. However, it seems that male lambs may also be slower than females for other reasons.
