The results from this project will be incorporated into a website featuring a systematic review of the dairy cow lameness literature already developed thanks to earlier funding (from MDC, the Scottish Government and Defra).

They will also be used as a basis for a flexible learning package on cattle foot-care currently being developed as part of the Scottish Government’s funding of SAC’s educational role. It is envisaged that these will be combined and expanded in the future to form a hybrid information system aimed at education and decision support for farmers and field advisers.
