SERA - Study On Employment In Rural Areas
The project relates to one of the conclusions of the Agriculture Council of July 2003, which called for ‘an in depth assessment … of employment prospects in rural areas further to reform of the common agricultural policy and the Union’s enlargement process, with particular reference to youth employment and the unemployment of women, and to initiate the discussion on the creation of appropriate statistical tools for rural areas’.
The project runs for 12 months, to January 2006, and the EU-wide partnership is lead managed by SAC Land Economy and Environment Research Group.
The SERA project is now complete. The final report is available to download in PDF format using the link on the right.
By logging into the members' area using the log in link at the top of this page, you will be able to find contact details for all SERA project partners and view a range of documents relating to the project. There are sections containing documents from SERA meetings as well as pages containing data sets and maps relating to the project.
