AsPIRE Workshops
There were a range of opportunities for discussion and input from both policy practitioners and researchers.
The first workshop of the AsPIRE project was hosted by the Institute of Spatial Planning, University of Dortmund (IRPUD) in November 2001. 26 people were in attendance from seven of the EU Member States. The occasion was an excellent opportunity for presenting the AsPIRE conceptual framework. Six conceptual papers were presented and responded to in detail by a panel of expert reviewers.
