Poultry Consultancy
The ASRC has a long tradition of providing a wide range of consultancy services to all sectors of the poultry industry including: producers, feed additive manufacturers, government agencies and departments
We are funded to provide poultry related advice on welfare, biosecurity, organic systems and the environment to producers and poultry keepers (including keepers of 'hobby flocks') based in Scotland
Biosecurity
Management practices to reduce the risk of transmission of disease onto and away from a production site.
Carcass Evaluation
Our modern purpose-built licensed poultry slaughter and processing facility and its dedicated staff analyse product data on the carcasses of up to 2000 birds per week.
Conventional, Free-Range & Organic
Advice on the benefits and drawbacks of various types of management and husbandry systems for laying hens, chickens and turkeys.
Environmental Auditing
We provide independent and impartial advice and guidance on managing the environmental aspects of poultry operations.

Staff with extensive experience in poultry, game bird and ostrich husbandry are available to give you advice on a wide range of issues including:
Incubation
Staff with over 15 years of experience are available to give advice on the incubation of most species of commercial interest including poultry, game birds and ostriches for poultry producers and equipment manufacturers.
Nutrition
We provide independent and impartial expert comment, advice and guidance on the provision, value and effects of diets and their ingredients for poultry
