Management Structure
The majority of research staff at SAC are organised into the R&D Division, one of SAC's three Divisions, led by the Head of R&D, who is also a member of the Executive Management Team (EMT).
The R&D Division is sub-divided into four main Research Groups:
- Land Economy and Environment
- Animal Health
- Crop and Soil
- Sustainable Livestock Systems
Each Group is headed up by a Group Manager. Groups are further sub divided into a variable number of Research Teams each headed by a Team Leader.
In addition, Project Management, Quality Assurance and Research Administration is concentrated in a Projects Office, headed up by the Research Manager.
The Head of R&D, together with the four Group Managers and the Research Manager, comprise the Divisional Management Team (DMT), who define the strategic direction of SAC's research and manage the Research Division.
