An upbeat British Potato 2007 has brought new heart back to the industry. With the wet summer, not everyone has had a good year but all the messages from the event were positive and, for the moment at least, the prospects for the industry have engendered optimisim for the future.

British Potato 2007
Iain MacGregor reports on the Conference held during BP2007. The four speakers. James Walton on Quality, Sir Colin Berry on Food issues and Anton Havorkort and Sean Rickard on Climate Change all gave excellent and thought provoking presentations. David Walker deservedly received the British Potato Industry Award for his sterling work as Chairman of the BPC at the conference dinner.
