Chinese Visitors

SAC played host to 17 agronomists and extension researchers from China this week.
They were here to find out more about Scottish agriculture as part of a UK wide tour. They represented many of the provinces of China including Jiangsu, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong, Chengdu and Sichuan but also included representatives from the autonomous regions of Inner Mongolia and Ningxia Hui.
They had a particular interest in soil management strategies, and fertiliser systems and technologies. They spoke to Bob Rees (Crop & Soil Systems) and Bill Jeffrey (Environment and Design).
