Where Does John Get The Energy?
John MacDonald, Programme Leader with the Environmental Teaching Group in Aberdeen, will be a panellist in an Energy Question Time event on 17th June.
It takes place at 6.00 pm in Pittodrie Stadium, the home of Aberdeen Football Club. Presented by Sarah Mack, of BBC Scotland’s Landward programme, the event is modelled on the successful Question Time format but will focus on energy production and efficiency, with particular reference to local issues.
The event is one of a series being organised around the country by "energyrethinking", a campaign to help people save money by saving energy. It provides expert advice from a number of organisations and celebrities on how to save energy and encourages consumers to sign up as members and share their advice. Although financially supported by Shell, the content is independent.
John was invited as an SAC specialist and Chair of Aberdeen City Environment Forum. Others to be on the panel include Jean Morrison of energy consultants SCARF and Jamie Walls, Vice President, Shell UK.
