Go on Eileen - SAC Lecturer Wins Presidents Award for Presentation

Ayr based SAC Agriculture Lecturer Eileen McCloskey was presented with the Presidents Medal at the recent annual conference of the British Society of Animal Science held in Nottingham.
In fact the prize was for the best presentation at the previous 2010 conference. It involved her work on grazing patterns and habitat selection of the Scottish Blackface compared with a crossbred using GPS satellite telemetry collars.
That work was carried out when Eileen was with the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute and Queen’s University Belfast. However her new SAC colleagues have not been slow to offer congratulations and bask in the glow of her success.
