GreenCow Passes the PR Test

Croatian PR at GreenCow (opens in new window)

SAC’s new GreenCow research facility is regarded as a success story worth telling by those involved with the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

Alison Ainslie and Tony Waterhouse from SAC Sustainable Livestock Systems recently hosted a visit to the new unit by a group of Croatian Public Relations specialists keen to learn how SAC had managed and delivered the ERDF funded project. They were accompanied by officials involved in administering the scheme and who had recommended SAC and GreenCow as an example of best practice.

While the ladies were kitted out and given a tour of the Beef Research centre in order to understand the scale of the ERDF investment they were equally interested in the media coverage generated and the way the ERDF brand has been handled by SAC. Apparently they were surprised that men were allowed anywhere near the PR sector in Scotland. In Croatia it is largely a female operation.
