Good turnout for SAC-sponsored ‘Crichton Conversation’
More than 80 people turned out for the annual SAC-sponsored ‘Crichton Conversation’ in Dumfries.
The event, held in Brown House on the Crichton Campus, featured Dr Stuart Housden, Director of the RSPB in Scotland. Dr Housden delivered a thought-provoking talk titled ‘Taking action for biodiversity: a proud duty or a distraction?” exploring the pressures currently facing the countryside and their impacts on biodiversity.
