SAC Invites Prospective Students to Craibstone
SAC News Release Ref. No: 11N34
Published: 14 Mar 2011
The Scottish Agricultural College (SAC) is opening its doors to prospective students next week to give them a flavour if what it’s like to study at the Craibstone Campus in Aberdeen.
In addition to teaching Agriculture, SAC offers a range of inspiring, and perhaps unexpected, courses that can lead to a host of interesting careers relating to the environment and the outdoors, leisure, animal management and the equine industry.
Students and lecturers from courses including Countryside Management, Sustainable Environmental Management and Rural Business Management will be on hand at the Taster Day to tell visitors more about what they involve and where they can lead.
But it’s not all about work - there will also be the chance to find out about day-to-day life as an SAC student, with a campus tour and the opportunity for visitors to ask questions about any element of student life, from accommodation and support to recreation and sports facilities.
The Taster Day runs from 10am-3pm at the Craibstone Campus, Craibstone Estate, Bucksburn, Aberdeen AB21 9YA. It is free but anyone who would like to attend is asked to book in advance as places are limited. Those interested should contact Suzanne Hay, Student Recruitment Officer, on 01224 711189 or email aberdeen@sac.ac.uk.
