Ayrshire School Flips Over SAC Ayr Donation

A top-up donation by staff and students at SAC’s Ayr Campus has enabled Queen Margaret Academy in Ayr to buy flip video cameras for use in their IT lab.

The SAC contribution, from their annual collection, involved gathering around 1750 Tesco Vouchers for Schools (a total spend of £17,500) which was combined with what Academy staff and students had collected themselves and added to what had been “banked” from the previous year.

SAC Staff Development Manager, Leslie Howie handed over the donation to Charmaine Gillespie of Queen Margaret’s computing department and two S4 pupils.
