Snapping It Up At Crichton
2009 overall winner of the Crichton Photographic Competition, taken by Ronnie Galloway (opens in new window)
An additional category has been added to this year’s SAC Crichton Photographic Competition.
As well as pictures of the wildlife, buildings and landscape around the Crichton site in Dumfries, or the highly valued shots of SAC in action, there is a class for “Farming in Dumfries and Galloway”.
The competition, organised by the SAC Dairy Centre, is open to anyone visiting or working at the Crichton Royal Farm or Campus. With a £10 M & S gift voucher for each category winner, rising to £20 for the overall prize, it will be worth carrying a camera round with you through April and May. You never know the image may appear in various SAC publications!
Entries should be emailed to Anne Bray by 5pm on Friday 28th May. Judging will be SAC Communications Unit's own Ed Robertson, not so ably assisted by Ken Rundle. The winner will be announced at Crichton during Open Farm Sunday on 13th June.
