Oban, Dumfries & Dingwall Host SAC Outlook On The Road
SAC Outlook Roadshow (opens in new window)
Oban, Dumfries and Dingwall will be the venues for this year’s trio of SAC Outlook events where expert rural industry analysis and future forecasts are taken direct to rural communities.
Formerly a major one-day, policy conference in Edinburgh, Outlook began its road trips last year, visiting Kelso, Aberdeen and Stirling.
The autumn programme this year will follow a similar schedule with meetings lasting just two and a half hours, including hospitality. A guest, keynote speaker will address an issue relevant to the particular audience followed by two more presentations from SAC specialists, with analysis and comment. The meeting will close with questions from the floor and a panel discussion.
First will be an afternoon meeting in Corran Halls, Oban on 4th October. Dumfries is next on 28th October with an evening event in the Cairndale Hotel while Dingwall Mart is the venue for the final, evening meeting, on Monday, 1st November. Further details will be published later this year.
