Pollution Prevention News
Seven topical articles on pollution control are contained in a new SAC publication being issued to farmers and land managers across Scotland. Funded by the Scottish Government as part of its Pollution Prevention Advisory Activity, it contains details on nutrient planning, NVZ news and what the Water Framework Directive means for farmers.
It also contains details of PLANET Scotland, a software tool designed for use by all Scottish farmers. Planning Land Application of Nutrients for Efficiency and the environmenT is being developed by SAC and ADAS with Scottish Government funding. It will be available later this spring, free of charge.
