Auchincruive Fun Runners Want to Smash Their £4,500 Record

Despite the snow, students and staff at SAC in Ayr are already planning their training schedule for the March Fun Run. Even if it means wrapping up warm they are determined to be fit enough to complete the course around Auchincruive Estate and make their contribution to the record total they want to raise for the Hansel Foundation.
In 2008 their efforts raised £4,500 for the nearby charity which helps people with disabilities have a future that is interesting, meaningful and fulfilling.
The 2010 event, on Sunday, 7th March, offers both 5 and 10 km courses. Further details can be obtained from Joy Gladstone of the Social Sciences Teaching Group. Application and sponsorship forms are available on the Hansel Foundation website.
