CM Course Infirmation
I am Mhairi Robb, I’m doing Countryside Management in the fourth year and I am just going to graduate in July. Why did I come to SAC? I came to SAC after doing another Course at another University in Aberdeen where you were just a number rather than an actual person, so I came to SAC and here you’re treated as a person, everyone knows you individually and if you need to grab a hold of someone, you can grab a hold of someone and have a quick five minutes and you are supported as well while you are here.
Good things about SAC is there’s a great social life, the Tutors are all very friendly, their foods is not too bad either. The Halls of Residence, as far as I can gather, are very nice. I stay in the Farmhouse, in one of the cottages that’s on the Estate and this year we’ve a great bunch of people in and it gives you an opportunity to meet new people and make friends for life.
Now that I am finishing, I am going to, hopefully, go and work with potatoes which is not really related to my Course, but within my Course it allows you to expand out and investigate areas of your own interest.
If you’re interested within Environment, Agriculture, Garden Design, come to one of SAC’s Open Days and find out a wee bit more and the Staff will be able to help you.
