A weekly bulletin produced by SAC Ayr Library giving short abstracts of current articles in the 'popular' presses related to SAC's core disciplines. Magazines covered include The Scottish Farmer, New Scientist, Horticulture Week, etc. This bulletin is available to all SAC staff based in Ayr by logging onto the local Staff noticeboard but, should anyone in SAC wish to receive a copy on their desktop, contact the Library in Ayr (details on the right) 

Daily Newspaper Articles

A list of article titles published in newspapers held by SAC campus libraries (including, The Herald, Press & Journal, The Scotsman, The Times), with links to publishers web pages (if available). The service also includes stories from the BBC News web site. Distributed by e-mail daily. NewsAlert

Available on the Library Members area of the SAC Library web site to SAC staff and students only (username and password available from Library staff). Updated regularly, it contains topical press releases from the Scottish Executive, DEFRA; together with other Government departments and relevant bodies.
