Who should take this qualification?
Anyone who wishes to work in a licensed premises or any venue or site where alcohol is sold, for drinking on or off the premises; in a position where they will authorise the sale of alcohol to the public.

Length of Course

This one-day [9.30am - 4.30pm] SCPLH course is informal and the training is carried out by one of SAC’s BIIAB approved trainers with ‘hands-on’ industry experience.

Qualifications Obtained

If you wish to obtain a personal licence you need to apply to your local Licensing Board.  You will be asked to prove that you hold a licensing qualification.  SAC has an excellent reputation throughout Scotland for short courses for the Food and Beverage Industry.

Courses can also be delivered in-house using your own business premises

Course Costs

The cost of the course is £140 [VAT exempt] per candidate which includes teas, coffees, lunch, tuition, handbook, examination fees and the BIIAB Certificate.
