REHIS Intermediate Food Hygiene Course

This Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate of the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS), aimed at supervisors and food business proprietors, provides an understanding of the relationship between food hygiene, food poisoning and food spoilage in addition to the socio-economic costs of poor food hygiene.

None. The course is aimed at supervisors/managers within food manufacturing and food service who require a more in-depth knowledge of food hygiene.

Three days - 11,12 and 13 September 2012 (9.00am to 5.00 pm) with Exam on Monday 17 September 2012 at 10.00 am.
Qualifications Obtained
REHIS Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate.
By the end of the course the participants will:
- understand food hygiene and safety
- be able to control hazards and practice good food hygiene
- recognise common food hygiene problems and identify solutions
- prepare and store food in a safe, hygienic manner
- know and comply with the law that applies to food handlers
Course Costs
£300 per candidate (VAT exempt), includes all tuition, REHIS course handbook and certificate. All catering including lunch.
