This one-day course (9.30am – 4.30pm) covers the relationship between food, nutrition and health. It is a course designed to provide nutritional information for people working in a wide range of catering facilities – from staff canteens, school kitchens, hospitals, nurseries, care homes and community groups to restaurants, hotels and cafes.
Training is informal and carried out by a REHIS-approved food and nutrition trainer.
Qualifications Obtained
As such it is hoped that those completing the course will be able to influence what Scottish people eat and be in a better position to support the Scottish Diet Action Plan.
Course Costs
The cost of this course is £60 (VAT exempt) per candidate which includes all tuition, course handbook, registration, examination fees and REHIS certificate.
