Continuing your learning - studying at SAC
SAC's awards structure means that transfer from another institution when you complete your related qualification is easily achievable. We are proud of our strong tradition of students entering SAC courses with Access courses, HNCs and HNDs from other institutions. Many students who have taken HNC or HND courses at other colleges come to SAC and enter either year two or three of a degree programme. Please contact the student recruitment team if you wish to discuss the appropriateness of your current study of qualification for SAC course entry, or follow the link below for further information.
Progression within SAC
SAC designs most of its suite of courses to ensure that achievement is recognised by the possibility of a qualification at the end of each academic year - HNC, HND, Degree or Honours Degree. If, for some reason, you do have to leave before achieving an Honours Degree, you needn't leave empty handed. Similarly, you may enrol for the HNC or HND and as long as your performance is good enough, you can transfer to the degree course without any loss of time or repeated years.
Continuing your learning - further study
SAC's degree courses are awarded by one of Aberdeen, Edinburgh or Glasgow universities. Each degree is carefully designed to provide a course that blends the academic with the practical and provides you with a range of transferable skills. With a degree from one of these ancient universities, you are well-qualified for further postgraduate study or to embark on your future career.
