International Students: Visa Information

Once you have fully satisfied the entry requirements for your course, UCAS or SAC (depending on your course) will provide you with an unconditional offer letter which indicates that you have met the academic requirements.

SAC will ask for confirmation of your ability to meet the visa entry requirements, and will issue you with a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS).

Your entry to the UK for study with SAC will be on you satisfactorily meeting the visa conditions.

You will need to apply for a study visa once you have received an offer of a place. For full-time courses you will need to apply for entry under Tier 4 (General Student) - further information can be found on the UK Border Agency web site: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/

Please note that SAC is unable to enter into correspondence to support any application for a study visa beyond the provision of a confirmation of acceptance for studies (CAS) as referred to above.

You must make all enquiries about grants and sponsorship to your own government or local British Council office.

Unfortunately SAC is unable to provide financial support for International applicants.

When applying for your study visa you will be required to prove your ability to pay your tuition fees and fund your living expenses whilst at SAC.
