SAC Centenary Bursaries
Funding Information
A limited number of Bursaries up to a maximum award of £2000 are available. Bursaries may also be awarded to assist with tuition or hall of residence fees.
To be eligible you must be enrolled on your course and already applied for fees support (from SAAS, ILA or equivalent), student loan and any other publicly funded loan/grant/bursaries you may be eligible for (for example the Discretionary Fund).
The Centenary Bursary is awarded for one year at a time; therefore, you are required to apply in subsequent years if you wish to be considered for a further award, but a subsequent award is not guaranteed.
Application for a Centenary Bursary is to be made once you have enrolled for your course of study in September/October and assistance in completing the paperwork will be available from the Senior Tutor of your campus.
Applications must be discussed with, completed and submitted to your Senior Tutor by the October deadline. All students enrolled on a full or part-time SAC taught award are eligible to apply for a Bursary.
Outcomes will be notified to students by the end of November with payments made by cheque in December, January and April (unless the Bursary is supporting your tuition or accommodation fees).
