Panto Success
To the unsophisticated it might seem impossible to make a connection between Baghdad and Sherwood Forest, but hey, if Shakespeare can "bring Birnham Wood to Dunsinane", no task is too challenging for the Craibstone Panto Team.
Earlier this month "Aladdin the Woods" covered all the bases and, courtesy of a magic carpet, quite a bit of the solar system as well. Having been postponed because of the pre Christmas weather the three performance programme (including a matinee) was run early in the new year with charities Cash for Kids and Children in Need the beneficiaries. Quite what non-SAC folk made of it all I cannot tell but for those in the know it was another bizarrely funny experience involving a brave group of students and staff willingly making a spectacle of themselves for charity.
