Part-Time Learning
Not everyone is able to study full-time – work, family commitments and financial pressures may lead you to think that Higher Education just isn’t a practical option. But with flexible or part-time study programmes available across our three campuses there’s really no reason why you shouldn’t pursue your goal.
Here at SAC we have an exciting and diverse range of part-time courses from science to leisure, horticulture to green technology and business - not forgetting environmental and countryside studies and of course agriculture! You can develop new skills and gain qualifications for career or personal advancement and part-time learning with SAC allows you to fit studies in with your other commitments.
To give as many people as possible the chance to access courses we have designed a modular fomat of course delivery. Some learning is also offered online providing you with even more choice for you when planning your studies. This makes gaining a qualification even easier and can open up a whole new world, as many of our recent graduates have found.
We offer courses from NC level right through to postgraduate research degrees. You can start at a lower level and progress through to a higher level course, leaving with an HNC, HND, Degree, Honours Degree or Postgraduate qualfication as appropriate. You choose your exit award so whatever your level of interest and future aspirations you could achieve them and more, with SAC.
SAC receives many enquiries about part-time study and where possible we tailor our teaching timetable to suit individuals’ other commitments to create a flexible study programme. This might be a short professional development course, independent supported learning with our award winning on-line packages or an academic course such as a degree or an HND.
