Student Services
Advise on application form completion and making the most of your curriculum vitae (CV), as well as providing information on further courses/training is also available from staff members.
The library is also a source of careers information, including:
- Current vacancy lists
- vacation employment
- careers directories
- prospectuses
- daily newspapers
Aberdeen Careers Services
Information on careers, employment and working abroad can be found in the careers section of the library, and on student noticeboards.
Ayr Careers Services
Students on courses validated by the University of Glasgow can use their Careers facilities, although they cannot make individual appointments with University Careers Advisers.
Appointments can be made with a careers adviser from the Ayrshire Adult Guidance Network.
Edinburgh Careers Services
SAC Edinburgh students may use the University Careers Service at 33 Buccleuch Place, Edinburgh, EH8 9JL.
There is also a unit of the Careers Service on the King's Buildings Campus, situated on the 1st Floor, King's Buildings Union. This is only open during term time.
In addition, copies of all careers information sent to SAC are posted on noticeboards, and put in careers boxes in the Library and Education Office.
