SAC Learning

SAC Ayr has a conservation and countryside studies visitor/ interpretation centre which is used as a teaching resource.

Visits from schools and other interested groups are welcome and SAC students are encouraged to become involved in these activities to enhance their own learning.

SAC also has amenity and commercial horticultural units, woodlands, gardens, and historic buildings. The rural campuses of Aberdeen and Ayr are superb resources for the Countryside, Outdoor Pursuits, and Tourism courses.

In addition, the 18 hole golf course at Craibstone provides excellent opportunities for practical instruction as part of the Leisure, Sport and Recreation courses.
