SAC Learning

Wilson Hall is our main hall of residence, with 80 single study bedrooms available to students attending SAC, Ayr Campus.

The rooms are of a good size, and there are plenty of shared bathrooms, toilets and kitchens throughout the building. Fees for 2009/2010 session are £62 per week.

Priority is given to students coming to Ayr Campus for the first time, and all such applicants are guaranteed a place in Wilson Hall. In addition, students who have enjoyed their first year in Wilson Hall can often stay on for a second year if they wish, although many choose to share a flat or house in Ayr or Prestwick with their new friends. Rooms can be pre booked at any time by contacting the Accommodation Office.

Wilson Hall is self catering, where residents share a fully equipped kitchen with other students. Hot filled rolls are available from the refectory during the week from 9am, and students can also purchase lunch from Monday to Friday. There are washing machines and tumble driers in Wilson Hall for residents use. A TV room is also available. Many students bring portable TVs for their bedrooms but it should be noted that an individual TV licence will be required. A warden is available in Wilson Hall 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to deal with any problems that may arise.
