- SAC has published its Race Equality Scheme.
- This has been drawn up following the requirements of the Race Relations Act 1976 (as amended by the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000), which places a positive duty on all public bodies, including HEIs, to eliminate discrimination and harassment and to promote equality of opportunity for staff, students and other users of facilities and services.
- The Race Equality Scheme sets out how SAC will fulfil the new duty.
- Copies of the Race Equality Scheme can be made available in other formats upon request, such as large print, CD and floppy disk.
