Capital Diagnostics identifies new and emerging problems, monitors animal diseases as they affect domestic animal populations and provides veterinary expertise to CPD programmes. Bacteriology, Parasitology, Virology
Our labs perform a wide range of tests and carry out quantitative/qualitative assessments for parasites and protozoa.
Cytology, Histopathology, Post Mortem
We offer full post mortem and histopathology/cytology interpretation services.
Clinical Biochemistry, Haematology, Endocrinology, Toxicology
We assay all routine serum biochemistry analysis, haematological parameters and hormones and have access to a toxicological analytical service.
Serology, Immunology, Molecular Biology
A wide variety of assays are available and new assays are always under development.
A 25% discount applies on routine haemotology, biochemistry and microbiology follow-up samples received within a month when used to monitor disease progression.
Rapid reporting of fully interpreted results by telephone, fax and post. We endeavour to turn around haematology and biochemistry samples within 12 hours of receipt, histopathology within 48 hours and routine bacteriology within 72 hours.
A report includes:
- A full interpretation of results and an indication as to their significance
- A diagnosis and prognosis where applicable and where a full history is provided
- Quality controlled results (subscriber to MAFF and RIQAS quality assurance schemes)
- Specialist advice and information for SAC customers
- A free consultancy service for practices who wish to discuss cases prior to or following submission of samples.
