SAC Sports Turf Services is a consultancy specialising in the design, construction, and maintenance of golf courses, natural and synthetic sports grounds.  We have the skills to take a project from inception to completion and our service is tailored to suit the needs of each and every client, however big or small the job.

Formerly operating under the names Greens of Scotland and Heartland through the 1990s, we have acted as consultants to a wide range of clients including the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews, for whom we have conducted a design and feasibility study. 

Our construction consultancies include Newmachar and Strathmore Golf Courses in Scotland and Kitzingen and Brunnthal Golf Courses in Germany.  Our sports ground commissions include pitches at Peterhead Football Stadium and Lasswade Rugby Club.

We also have extensive experience in providing turf management advice - our client list includes St Andrews Links Trust, Cruden Bay Golf Club, Glenbervie Golf Club, Rangers FC, Dundee United FC and Glasgow City Council.
