Premium Sheep & Goat Health Schemes

These voluntary schemes offer members national recognition by awarding certificates of health status following successful flock/herd testing programmes. SAC’s aim is to raise the health status of the national flock in partnership with practising veterinary surgeons and their clients.

A national administrative centre is based in Inverness.  A network of eight veterinary centres service members in Scotland, England and Wales.

We actively encourage new members and market the benefits of high health status stock to the industry.
