What level of approval is given for nutrient inputs such as ground limestone and rock phosphate?

These are classed as permitted fertilisers. No prior approval needs to be sought from the certification body before use.

These inputs should be regarded as a supplement to, and not as replacements for, nutrient recycling within the farm. Production must be planned to minimise the need for brought in nutrients.
