Is routine use of anthelmintic for control of internal parasitic worms permitted?
The use of anthlemintics on a routine basis is restricted.
This may only occur over a specific period of time, as part of a disease reduction programme as detailed in the health plan and agreed with the nominated veterinary surgeon and provided that this is accompanied by husbandry practices designed to reduce or, where possible, eliminate the presence of an unacceptable worm infestation.
