What materials are permitted for use as silage additives?

The use of bacterial, molasses and enzyme silage additives is permitted.

The use of lactic, formic, propionic and acetic silage additives is permitted in extreme weather conditions, but permission may need to be sought from the certification body.

The use of enzyme silage additives derived from genetically modified organisms is prohibited.
