Arboriculture Services
Did you know SAC Arboriculture Services not only deliver training and assessment to the Scottish arboricultural industry but also provide a completely independent consultancy service.
SAC Arboriculture Services is uniquely placed to provide completely independent tree management advice. This is because we would not carry out any of the resulting tree surgery/remedial operations and so have nothing to gain from any of our recommendations.
Our services include:
- Decay Detection: Using the most up-to-date decay detection tools to assess the internal structure of your tree.
- Trees on Development Sites: SAC can provide quality arboricultural reports supporting planning applications, advise you on successful retention of mature tree stock, and provide “Green Space” proposals for future developments.
- Tree Hazard Assessment: To help you manage your tree stock in a safe and effective manner by assessing the condition of your trees and prioritising remedial work.
- Analytical Services: We can provide you with soil and foliage analysis as well as a pest identification service.
- Woodland Management: SAC can supply woodland surveys, management plans and can compile SFGS applications.
- Bat Surveys: Use a qualified bat handler to assess potential habitat and give advice on the suitability of proposed tree work and construction.
- Expert Witness: SAC can provide an independent and credible opinion at court hearings.
- Loler Inspections: Inspect your lifting equipment on site, or at our offices.
- H&S Audits: Offer independent advice on the suitability of equipment, qualifications, work methods, etc. As the UK training provider for the HSE, we are very well placed to provide this advice.
SAC Arboriculture Services pride themselves on the quality of service provided to the Scottish arboricultural industry.
If you are interested in any of our services and wish to discuss your requirements with an adviser then please contact your local FRBS Office.
