Late sown wheat

With late sowings of wheat, the risk from the seed borne disease Microdochium nivale becomes greater.

Seed treatments are essential to ensure effective control of this seed borne disease.

You can test the seed to check levels on the seed. Most single purpose seed  dressings will provide good control.  Some broad spectrum seed treatments are less effective.

Cold and wet conditions at sowing can lead to a greater risk.
