Keeping the top leaves free from disease is important in winter wheat.

To achieve this, the flag leaf fungicide is important to ensure the final leaf is well protected from disease. 

The dose rates must be sufficient to maintain this protection for several weeks plus high enough to eradicate disease developing in the lower leaves.
