Winter Barley Disease Treatment

Once winter barley is in flower, there are fewer options to manage disease.
The final fungicide treatments should have been applied before the ear has emerged (GS51).  The unsettled weather has allowed rhynchosporuium to develop high up the canopy this season. Other diseases you can expect to develop late on include  Ramularia and net blotch.  If we have a dry settled spell of weather, brown rust may also develop.
